北海道はオホーツク海、日本海、太平洋に囲まれた日本国土面積の約４分の１を占める広大な島。

旭川市から北に約３００km行くと日本最北端の宗谷岬。南は襟裳岬。
北海道には、奥尻も含め１２の空港があり、本州から新幹線やフェリーでも行かれる。
北海道は、カニ、ウニ、イクラなどの新鮮な海鮮や乳製品、とうもろこしやジャガイモなどの野菜、ジンギスカンなどのグルメをはじめ、夏はラベンダー畑や自然、冬はスキー、温泉、オホーツク海の流氷など北海道独自の魅力が多い。
宗谷岬から襟裳岬は４１２km、知床から松前５３７km。東京ー大阪は約４００km。
北海道の旅は行きたい場所を決めて時間に余裕をもって回るのがおすすめ。

and vegetables such as genghiskan. lavender fields in summer and ski ,hotsprings in the Okhotsk sea drift ice in winter. cape Soya to cape Erimo is 412 kirometers,from Shiretoko to Matsumae is 537 kilometers,It is about 400 kilometers between Tokyo and Osaka.It is recommend to decide wher you want to go and go around with plenty of time.
