群馬県

関東地方北西部に位置する群馬県。群馬県には、草津、伊香保、四万、水上の４つの温泉は人気のエリア。特に草津温泉は兵庫県の有馬温泉、岐阜県の下呂温泉と日本三名泉の一つ。草津温泉の源泉湧出地、”湯畑”は日本一の自然湧出量を誇り、湯畑中央に並ぶ７本の湯桶にお湯を通すことで適温となって旅館に送られる。草津では、湯を薄めずに入浴するため、約１８０cmの長い板を利用して温度を下げる伝統の”湯もみ”で知られ、草津伝統の「湯もみと踊り」の鑑賞や湯もみを体験することもできる。

湯畑は日没から２４時までライトで照らされ幻想的な湯畑を見ることができる。

伊香保温泉は、温泉街の中心に３６５段の石段の両側にはグルメやお土産店が並ぶ。

徒歩で１５分ほどにある河鹿橋（かじかばし）は秋の紅葉がキレイ。

その他、四万（よんまん）の病に効くと言われたことが名前の由来の四万温泉（しまおんせん）、県北部に位置するみなかみ温泉は冬季スキーが楽しめる。

高崎市は縁起物のだるまの産地として知られ、富岡市は明治時代、フランスから技術者を招き、官営模範工場として指定された富岡製糸工場は２０１４年世界文化遺産に登録された。

他にも、赤城山、榛名山、妙義山の名山や山地湿原の尾瀬では初夏に水芭蕉の花やハイキングも楽しめる。

In Gunma prefecture the four hot springs in Kusatsu,Ikaho,Shima,Minakami are popular areas. In particular Kusatsu onsen is one of Arimaonsen in Hyogo prefecture,

Geroonsen in Gifu prefecture and one of the three famous springs in Japan 

Yubatake the source of Kusatsuonsen boasts the largest amount of natural gushing in Japan and by passing hot water through the 7 hot tubs lined up in the center of Yubatake it is sent to the inn at an appropriate temperature. 

In Kusatsu it is known for the traditional "Yumomi" that uses a long board of about 180cm to lower the temperature is order to take a bath without diluting the hotwater and you can also appreciate the Kusatsu traditional Yomomi and Dance and experience Yumomi

Yubatake is illuminated by lights from sunset to 24:oo and you can see the fantastic Yubatake.

Ikaho onsen is in the center of the hot spring town and gourmet and souvenir shops are lined up on both side of the 365 ston steps.

Kajika bridge which is about a 15 minute walk a way has beautiful autumn leaves.

In addition Shima onsen, which is the origin of the name because it was said to be effective for 40000 diseases and Minakami onsen can enjoy skiing in winter.

Takasaki city is known as a production area for lucky charms and Tomioka city invited engineers from France in the Meiji period and was designated as a goverment-run model factory  Tomioka paper factory was registered as a world  cultural Heritage in 2014.
